Inside with a strong purplish red/deep purplish pink (64C-D) to strong or moderate purplish pink (68B-C) edge, shading into broad white area flanking a small brilliant greenish yellow/brilliant yellow (6C/9C) ray extending from the soft greenish white nectar furrows; outside moderate to light purplish pink (66D/68D), with ivory white to pale green midribs; basal 1/2 of each petal with magenta rose papillae; pollen greyish red/moderate red (178A/181A). Fls ± 150 mm wide; petals 80-100x40 mm, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 110x50 mm, mid green. Stems 0.9-1.35 m, green, with darker markings and 8-20 fls. August. Flower colour slightly affected by temperature and light levels. |
