Inside strong purplish red (60C) on a yellowish white (155D) ground, the colour stronger towards the apex, midveins brilliant yellow (12B) to deep red (53A); outside suffused strong purplish red (60D) on a yellowish white (155D) ground, midveins strong yellow-green (144C), becoming strong yellow-green (144B) at the apex, the outer petals tipped strong yellow-green (144A); deep purplish red (187D) spots over 2/3 of each petal; stigma moderate yellow-green (147D); pollen strong orange (169C). Fls 285mm wide; petals 155 x 90mm, margins ruffled, slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 215 x 40mm, dark green. Stems 0.89m, mid green, with c3 fls. |
