Inside suffused light purplish pink (65B) on a greenish white (155C) ground, edged 155C and with light greenish yellow (8C) midveins fading towards the apex, outside yellowish white (155B), suffused light purplish pink (65B) at apex (fading towards base), the midvein strong yellow-green (145A), becoming strong yellow-green (144B) towards the apex, tipped (143B) and becoming (143C) at base; deep purplish red (59B) spots on lower 1/2 of each petal; stigma deep purplish red (71A); pollen dark reddish orange (175C). Fls 270mm wide; petals 140 x 70mm, margins ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 170 x 30mm, dark green. Stems 0.97m, pale green, with c6 fls. |
