Description Inside strong purplish red (60D), the colour in the midveins fading towards apex, throat white (155B); outside deep red to strong purplish red (60A/C), tipped strong yellow-green (143C) at base, midveins white (155A) to light greenish yellow/pale yellow-green (4C/D), veins tipped strong yellow green (143C), petals tipped strong yellow green (143A); dark red (187B) spots on basal part of each petal and deep red/strong purplish red (60A/D) papillae in the throat; nectaries strong yellow-green (144B), surrounded by a brilliant yellow (11A) rim; pollen strong orange (168A/B); stigma dark red (187A). Fls 220mm wide; petals 25 x 45-60mm, margins ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 140 x 35mm, mid green. Stems 0.95m, green with slight anthocyanin markings and 2-3 fls.
