Inside strong purplish red (60D), midvein deep red (60A), tips a little paleer than (60D), throat yellowish white (155D); outside strong purplish red (59D), inner petals paler, with a little yellowish white (155D) at base, midveins light yellow-green (144D), tinged strong yellow-green (144A) at base and apex; nectaries strong yellow-green (144B) with light greenish yellow (8B) alongside; dark red (187B) spots on the basal part of each petal and papillae also present; stigma dark red (187B); pollen dark reddish orange (175B). Fls 200mm wide. Out-facing; petals 115x35-50mm, margins ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 140x30mm, mid green. Stems 1.0m, pale green, with a few darker markings and c. 4 fls. June. |

Buitenzijde: licht indischroodlak (CC 59D), binnenste bloembladen lichter van kleur. Aan de bodem iets ivoorkleurig wit (CC 155D). Middennerf scheele's groen (CC 144D), aan bodem en top iets kropslagroen (CC 144A). |
