Inside vivid purplish red (57C), throat yellowish white (155D); outside each petal with a third yellowish white (155D) and two-thirds vivid purplish red (57C), midribs yellowish white (155D); spots vivid purplish red (57B); papillae present; nectaries strong greenish yellow (151A) shading to light greenish yellow (8B) along margin; pollen strong orange (168B); stigma moderate purplish pink (66D). Fls 240 mm wide, slightly scented; petals 130 x 62 mm, margins ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 155 x 35 mm. Stems 0.81 m, dark, with few fls. |
