| Description |
Leaves narrow, glaucous, explicative. Outer tepals 3 cm long. Inner tepals with flared distinctive green marks, apical mark at apex either side of the sinus forming a thin inverted V-shape mark, the base of which enlarged outwards, and a large green square-shape blotch towards the base, but often there are two separate broad I-shaped blodges; remi-niscent of G. elwesii and G. graecus, but the inner tepal faces have three pairs of discontinuous separate grren lines from apex to base, while 'Armine' hase three continuous pairs. Leaves semi-erect to somewhat arched, 5.5 x 1.1 cm, applanate, glaucescent, margins varibly explicative. Scape semi-erect, 22 cm. Spathe linear to lanceolate. Outer segments shallowly concave, 24 mm, l:w 4:3. Inner segments l:w approx. 5:3; sinus equilateral, large; marking confined to apical 7/8, two joined pip-shapes, one either side of sinus, and two vertically placed elongated ovals towards the base which may join or be narrowly separate. Ovary fairly rounded, l:w 6:5. |
