Description

Inside with a strong purplish red (60D) suffusion on a yellowish white (155D) ground, throat 155D; outside similarly coloured, the midvein white (155A) at the base shading to strong yellow-green (144B&C) at apex; nectaries yellowish white (155D); deep purplish red (59B) spots on basal part of each petal and yellowish white (155D) papillae; stigma greyish yellow-green (194B); pollen dark reddish orange (175B). Fls up-facing, bowl-shaped, 200mm wide; petals 100x30-55mm, margins ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 160x45mm, mid green. Stems 1.15m, dark, with c. 4 fls.
