Description Inside very pale purple (69D), with a light greenish yellow (4B) mark from above the nectary and extending up to 1/2 of petal, changing to a strong purplish red (59D) suffusion, throat very pale purple (69D); outside moderate purplish pink (68C) on a very pale purple (69D) ground, the midveins tipped strong yellow-green (144A); deep purplish red (59B) spots and light greenish yellow (4B) papillae; nectaries strong yellow-green (144A); pollen strong brown (172A); stigma light yellow-green (145D). Fls. 120mm wide; petals 70-80 × 40-50mm, not ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 80 × 55mm. Stems 30-50cm, light green, with a little darking marking and c5 fls. July-August.
