Description

The elongated, pinecone-shaped green spikes produce flowers from July to September. These flowers are bright white, generally (though not always) with a pale lime green throat, and are extremely showy and very large for the genus-each having a labellum that can measure 7 cm long and wide. The leaves have a soft white down on the undersides.
