Inside variegated moderate purplish red (70A) on a white ground; outside variegated moderate purplish red (70A) on a white ground, with deep purplish red (187D) midveins tipped with strong yellow-green (144B); outside stronger coloured than inside; no spots but self-coloured papillae on up to 2/3 of each petal; pollen strong orange (168A & B); stigma dark red (183B). Fls 240 mm wide; petals 130-140 x 50-70 mm, margins ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 160-175 x 25-80 mm. Stems 1.0 m, light green, with c.3 fls. |
