Description Inside white (155B), edged strong purplish red (71C) on a white ground, apical part of midveins strong purplish red (60B), throat with light greenish yellow (4C) along the strong yellow-green (143B) nectaries; outside white (155B), vivid purplish red (57C) along midveins, midveins strong yellow-green (144C), tipped strong yellow-green (143A), petals edged vivid purplish red (57C); deep purplish red (71A) spots on up to two thirds of each petal; white (155B) and light greenish yellow (4C) papillae in the throat; pollen strong brown (172A); stigma dark purplish pink (186C) with a moderate purplish red (186A) vein. Fls 220 mm wide; petals 110 x 40-65 mm, margins ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 190 x 35 mm, dark green. Stems 1.3 m, green, with darker markings and c3 fls.
