Inside pure white, the first day after opening there is a very soft yellow stripe along the middle of each petal, throat pure white with soft green surrounding the strong yellow-green (142A) nectaries; outside white and green, the midveins soft green; a few pure white spots; pollen strong reddish orange (169A); stigma deep purple/moderate purple (79C/D). Fls 300mm wide; petals 160 x 50-75mm, margins slightly ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 220 x 80mm, moderate olive green (137A), rather leatherly. Stems 1.0 - 1.3m, moderate yellow-green (138B), with 4-10 fls. Mid August. Highly resistant to botrytis and viruses. |
