Inside of tepals including midvein light greenish yellow (3D); margins greenish white (155C); throat light greenish yellow (3C). Outside of tepals including midrib greenish white (155C). Spots moderate orange (171C) in basal half of tepal; papillae light greenish yellow (3D) at base of tepal; nectaries strong greenish yellow (151C), open; filament light greenish yellow (1C), pollen strong orange (169B); stigma light greenish grey (188C). Fls 265 mm wide, single, strongly scented; tepals 145 × 80 mm, margins slightly ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs 155 × 50 mm, scattered, moderate bluish green (133B). Stems 0.8 m (outdoors), dark bluish green (131A), with up to 8 fls. (average 5). June-July. Moderately hardy. |
