Inside of tepals including midvein greenish white (155C), throat 155C. Outside of tepals including midrib greenish white (155C). Spots absent; papillae few, greenish white (155C), at top of nectary; nectaries moderate yellowish green (147D), closed, ridges frosted; filament pale yellow-green (157B), pollen moderate orange (170B); stigma dark greyish yellow (199D). Fls 85 mm wide, single, not scented; tepals 45 × 28 mm, margins smooth, tips straight, not recurved. Lvs 110 × 16 mm, scattered, dark green (135A). Stems 0.43 m (outdoors), moderate olive green (137A), with up to 9 fls. (average 5). May-June. Moderately hardy. |
