Inside of inner tepals brilliant greenish yellow (1A) over a strong yellow-green (144C) ground; midveins brilliant greenish yellow (4A); throat strong yellow-green (144C). Inside of outer tepals brilliant greenish yellow (4A) in a broad stripe along centre midvein to tip, strong yellowish green stripes (143C) along margins but not to tip, margin edges brilliant greenish yellow (1A); midveins brilliant greenish yellow (4A). Outside of tepals light yellow-green (145C), margin edges brilliant greenish yellow (1A); midrib brilliant greenish yellow (151D). Spots and papillae absent; nectaries strong greenish yellow (151A), open; filament light yellow-green (154D), anthers pale yellow (19C); stigma deep greenish yellow (153A). Fls 120 mm wide, single, not scented; tepals 80 × 40 mm, margins strongly ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs 110 × 12 mm, scattered, strong yellow-green (144C). Stems 0.7 m (outdoors), strong yellow-green (144A), with up to 7 fls. (average 4). May-June. Hardy. |
