Inside of tepals including midvein brilliant yellow (7B); throat 7B. Outside of tepals 7B, midrib yellow-green. Spots and papillae absent; nectaries yellow-green, closed, ridges slightly frosted light yellow (160B); filaments brilliant yellow (7B), pollen strong orange (169B); stigma greyish red (182B). Fls 220 mm wide, single, not scented; tepals 120 × 70 mm, margins smooth, tips slightly recurved. Lvs 130 × 30 mm, scattered, deep yellowish green (141B). Stems 1.0 m (under glass), moderate olive-green (146A), with up to 5 fls. (average 4 fls). May-June. Hardy. |
