Inside yellowish white (155D) with broad, strong purplish red to strong purplish pink (62B/C) edges and tips and a strong yellow-green (144B) throat; outside 155D, the edges suffused moderate purplish pink (70D), the midveins light to pale greenish yellow (10C/D); a few, small, strong purplish red (64B) spots in throat; pollen dark reddish orange (175B). Fls 270mm wide; petals 130 x 75mm, margins ruffled, slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 190 x 40mm, mid green. Stems 1.15m, green, with a few darker markings and 5-7 fls. May (under glass). |
