Inside of tepals yellowish white (155B), deep pink (52C) brushmarks in centre of tepal in distal third (distal half in outer tepals), margins and tips yellowish white (155B); throat yellowish white (155B). Outside of tepals yellowish white (155B), midribs strong yellowish green (144B). Spots absent; papillae very few and scattered in margins, deep pink (52C); nectaries strong yellowish green (144B), open; filaments pale yellowish green (149D), pollen strong reddish orange (169A); stigma pinkish grey (201D). Fls 230 mm wide, single, slightly scented; tepals 110 × 74 mm, margins slightly ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs 145 × 62 mm, scattered, dark yellowish green (136B). Stems 0.75 m (under glass), moderate olive-green (146A), with up to 6 fls. (average 5 fls). May-June. Hardiness strong. |
