Inside moderate purplish pink (62B), the tips of the inner petals edged pale yellow-green (155A), the midveins suffused pale yellow (18C) and the throat strong yellow-green (143C); outside moderate to light purplish pink (62B/65B), ivory white at base and with light greenish yellow (1C) midveins; light yellow (12C) papillae on basal 1/2 of each petal; nectaries light greenish grey (190D); pollen strong orange (169C). Fls 240mm wide; petals 120 x 50mm, slightly ruffled, strongly recurved. Lvs alternate, 185 x 40mm, mid green. Stems 0.95m, pale green, with c5 fls. July (under glass). |
