Inside vivid reddish orange (34A/B), tinged vivid orange (28A) above nectary, throat moderate red (180A) the colour blending into main petal colour; outside strong reddish orange (42B, shading to 169A), paler towards apex; nectaries white hairy; no spots, but with papillae in throat; stigma dark red (183B); pollen moderate reddish brown (175A). Fls 165 mm wide; petals 100x35-45 mm, slightly ruffled, tips hardly recurved. Lvs alternate, 100x25 mm, mid green. Stems 1.35 m, pale green, with darker markings and c. 5-6 fls. |
