Inside brilliant greenish yellow (6B), with edges brilliant greenish yellow (5A) on a pale greenish yellow (1D) ground, above the nectaries a little brilliant yellow-green (149A), throat pale greenish yellow (1D); outside pale greenish yellow (1D) changing to brilliant greenish yellow (5A) towards the edges, outer petals with a suffusion of strong pink (48D) to right of midveins; a few dark red (187A) spots nut no papillae; nectaries light yellow-green (150D); stigma strong orange-yellow (24B); pollen dark reddish orange (175C). Fls 190 mm wide; petals 115 x 40 mm, not ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 210 x 20 mm. Stems 1.1 m, green, with darker markings at the base and c.5 fls. July. |
