Description Inside vivid purplish red (57D), with a narrow white (155C) edge which becomes wider towards the apex, colour a little stronger above the nectary; throat white (155C); outside vivid purplish red (57D) on a white (155C) ground, apical part narrowly edged white (155C), tipped strong yellow-green (144B), midveins white (155A) becoming brilliant/lighter yellow-green (154C/D) towards the apex; deep red (60A) spots on lower part of each petal and white (155B) papillae in the throat; nectaries strong yellow-green (144C); pollen a little brighter than strong brown (172A); stigma dark purple (79B). Fls 220mm wide; petals 110 x 35-55mm, not ruffled, tips a little recurved. Lvs alternate, 135 x 35mm, mid green. Stems 0.9m, light green, with c. 5 fls.
Beschrijving Binnenzijde: licht fuchsiarood (CC 57D). Smal ivoorkleurig wit (CC 155C) gerand, naar de top iets breder. Boven de honinggroef iets feller gekleurd. Buitenzijde: licht fuchsiarood (CC 57D) op ivoorkleurig witte (CC 155C) ondergrond. Vanaf halverwege bloemblad smal ivoorkleurig wit (CC 155C) gerand. Middennerf ivoorkleurig wit (CC 155A), naar de top groengeel (CC 154C/D). Topje scheele's groen (CC 144B).
