Inside yellowish to greenish white (155B/C) with a long, narrow light yellow (12C) flame, brilliant to light yellow (12B/C) midveins and a strong yellow-green (144C) throat, outside yellowish to greenish white (155B/C), the outer petals slightly suffused pale yellow (8D) and the midveins brilliant yellow-green (154C); dark reddish orange (178B) papillae over all but tip of each petal; nectaries moderate purple (79D); pollen strong orange (169D). Fls 245mm wide; petals 120 x 62mm, slightly ruffled, strongly recurved. Lvs alternate, 115 x 30mm, mid green. Stems 0.65m, pale green, with c3 fls. July (under glass). |
