Inside yellowish white (155B), the lower part of each petal with a short, deep purplish red (59B) blotch, blending into a small brilliant flame in the strong yellow-green (143C) throat; outside 155B, with light greenish yellow (6D) midveins; a few dark red (187C) spots in the throat; pollen strong orange (169C/D). Fls 220mm wide; petals 115 x 55mm, not ruffled, slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 210 x 35mm, mid green. Stems 1.45m, green, with 4-7 fls. May-June (under glass). |

Binnenzijde: ivoorkleurig wit (CC 155B). Honinggroeven scheele's groen (CC 143C) met daarboven korte, vlamvormige kanariegele (CC 9C) vlek, uitlopend in korte geveegde indischroodlak (CC 59B) vlek over middennerf. In keel enkele donker indischroodlak (CC 187C) spikkels. |
