Deep purplish pink (64D) with a large ivory white flame and a strong yellow-green (145A) throat; outside of outer petals moderate purplish red (186B), edged yellowish white (155B), the midveins pale yellow to yellowish white (158B/C); outside of inner petals moderate purplish pink (186D) on an ivory ground; some papillae in throat; nectaries pale yellow-green (193C); pollen strong reddish orange (169A). Fls 270mm wide; petals 140 x 55mm, slightly ruffled, strongly recurved. Lvs alternate, 140 x 40mm, mid green. Stems 0.8m, green, with c5 fls. June (under glass). |
