Inside strong purplish red (60D), with a little white (155D) in th throat, outside moderate purplish red (64A) on a paler ground, midveins strong/light yellow-green (144C/D), with a little white (155D) at the base; nectaries strong yellow-green (144C); dark red (187C) spots on basal part of each petal an a few piapillae in the throat; pollen strong orange (169B); stigma light yellow-green (145D). Fls 210 mm wide; petals 20 x 45-65 mm, margins ruffled, tips recurved. Lvs alternate, 195 x 40 mm, mid green. Stems 1.35 m, green with a little dark marking on c3 fls. |
