Bright yellow (yellow 12A), with gold flush (yellow-orange 21A) 20 x 20mm along midribs, throat gold, outside 12A; ring of inconspicuous spots parallel to nectary; nectary green; pollen gold (greyed-orange 167A). Petals 90 x 30- 50 mm, not ruffled, slightly recurved. Fls 150-180 mm wide. Lvs alternate, 80-120 x 20 mm, dark green. Stems 1.5 m, soft green, with 7-30 fls. Late June-early July.
