Inside paler than pale orange-yellow (24D), midvein strong orange (25C) fading towards the apex, throat close to pale yellowish pink (27D); outside pale yellowish pink (27D), with a suffusion of strong yellow-green (144C) on midveins; dark red (187B) spots on 1/3 of each petal and papillae (coloured as petals) in the throat; nectaries brilliant orange (25C); pollen strong reddish orange (169A); stigma moderate orange (168C). Fls 180mm wide; petals 115x40mm, not ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 110x20mm, mid green. Stems 0.75m, pale green, with c. 8 fls. June-July (outside). |
