Inside pale yellow-green (4D), shading to vivid orange-yellow (23A) from edge to edge into the midvein and from above nectary (and towards apex on inner petals), throat strong/slight yellow-green (144C/D); outside paler than pale yellow-green (4D), midveins strong yellow-green (141C), at base and apex a little darker, up to 1/4 of each petal suffused deep red (185A) along edges, outer petals tipped dark red (187A) and with a (187A) suffusion towards base of midveins, unspotted, but a few papillae in throat of inner petals; nectaries white hairy. Fls 160 mm wide; petals 85 x 35-50 mm, not ruffled, tips slightly recurved, lower parts curved towards to centre. Lvs alternate, 125 x 20 m. Stems 1.3 m, green, with darker marking and c6 fls. |
